PATTERSON PARK MONTESSORI LLC DBA THE NEW CENTURY SCHOOL is hiring full-time
Curriculum and Instruction Director position.

Job Duties:

Develop and design instructional materials, such as lesson plans, handouts, or
examinations.
Provides technical assistance, training, and professional development for all teachers.
Provides ongoing staff development and technical assistance for teachers and
instructional assistants in various skill areas to support the delivery of instruction.
Analyzes, evaluates, revises, and maintains an educational program consistent with
school policies and goals.
Provides leadership in the management of the program(s) through curriculum
development, implementation of innovations, systematic evaluation, and program
planning and policy/process development.
Advises on the hiring, supervision, and evaluation of program faculty including
identifying programmatic needs for faculty recruitment and retention.
Advances high quality precision education and student success in collaboration with
faculty, staff and students.

Requirements

Master's Degree in Education, Teaching, Instructional Technology, or a related field. Must have
two years’ experience as a Curriculum and Instruction Director, Instructional Coordinator,
Curriculum Specialist, Childhood Education Teacher, Elementary Teacher, or other related
position. Must have knowledge of Association for Educational Communications and Technology
(AECT) standards; Experience with instructional technology (ALA/AASL).
