Job Title:Travel Registered Nurse – CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit)
Location:Reno, NV 89511
Shift: 3 x 12-Hour Night Shifts (12 HR Night Shift)
Contract duration: 13 Weeks
Weekly Breakdown:
Weekly Gross: $2,966.00 Per Week
On W2(Taxable): $1,440.00 Per Week
Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,526.00 Per Week
Required Qualifications:
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered RN license (State/District of assignment) – Required
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale Certification) – Required
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience – Required
- Post-Op Day 0 Open Heart Surgery experience – Required
- Experience with IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) and Impella devices – Required
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Expert knowledge of arrhythmia management, cardiovascular pathophysiology, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Proven ability to assess and analyze complex patient conditions
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to function effectively in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
- Proficient in delegating and coordinating multidisciplinary care
