Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist Facility: Danville Regional Medical Center Location: Danville, Virginia Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Summary: Danville Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and dependable Travel MRI Technologist to join our imaging team for day shifts. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating MRI equipment, ensuring patient safety, and producing high-quality diagnostic images in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and department protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, including coils and accessories
• Review images for diagnostic quality and accuracy before submission to radiologists
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with MRI credential
• Active license in Virginia (if applicable)
• Minimum of 2 years recent MRI experience in a hospital setting
• Current BLS certification
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
