Description

We are currently seeking part-time Speech and Language Pathologists to join our Early Intervention team.

Summit Speech School is a nonprofit organization (established in 1967) that provides services for students that have hearing loss. We serve students in three programs: Early Intervention, Preschool (Approved Private School for Students with Disabilities) and Itinerant Services. 

Our students utilize hearing technologies (cochlear implants and hearing aids) to speak and listen; our approach is exclusively Listening and Spoken Language.

We provide Early Intervention services throughout the state and are currently seeking SLPs to provide services to the following counties: 

Union
Morris
Essex
Somerset
Flexible Hours: You may work from 1 hour a week to 12 hours a week dependent on your preferred hours and our needs

Service location: In the family's home

Start date: Immediately, we will work with you to find an agreed upon start start date

Training: We will provide training related to working with children with hearing loss

Requirements

NJ Licensed SLP

Experience working with deaf/hard of hearing students
